Application

The FBM 100 is a compact fluoride analyzer and transmitter for continuous measurement of free fluoride ions in water. It uses a proven ion-selective electrode (ISE) for direct detection, delivering reliable results in up to 60 seconds (90% response).

This makes the FBM 100 ideal for industrial rinse water, wastewater treatment, and semiconductor or electronics manufacturing. Especially in applications involving hydrofluoric acid, it ensures safe and precise monitoring of critical water streams.

The system is easy to operate: once calibrated with a reference solution, the ISE sensor is installed directly in the measurement stream—no sampling or external flow cells required. Its integrated transmitter allows for continuous data transmission and automation integration in process control environments.

The optional HBM160 transmitter unit supports panel mounting and is compatible with a range of automated rinsing systems, such as water jets, spray nozzles, and chemical cleaners. These cleaning units help prevent sediment buildup on the electrode and can be controlled directly via the transmitter.
