Inductive Conductivity Sensor

Conductivity Detector with Inductive Measurement Method for Use in Complex Measurement Environments
Measuring Range:
Minimum 0 to 500 μS/cm
Maximum 0 to 2000 mS/cm

Application

This series of conductivity detectors is based on the principle of electromagnetism. Due to their PFA coating, the sensor unit can also be used in corrosive, hot or pressurized measuring environments. This allows the conductivity to be determined in highly acidic or alkaline environments and process fluids. Both immersion and flow fittings are available.
Additional Information: Measuring Principle
Inductive conductivity measurement is based on the change in inductance of two stacked coils in a solution. The measuring unit is embedded in a protective cover to avoid direct contact with the corrosive environment. If the inductance of the liquid changes, the measurement result also changes. When the conductivity of the solution depends mainly on the dissolved ions (in the form of inorganic salts), this measuring principle can be used to determine concentration. More information can be found in the product brochure.
