Chlorine Demand Analyzer for Determining the Chlorination Requirement Before Water Treatment.

Application

The CLD-7M chlorine demand measuring device is used to determine the exact chlorination requirement of water before water treatment. For this purpose, a constant chlorine content is generated in the sample stream by electrolysis. If this changes due to the presence of ammonia, microbes, etc., the electrolysis current is increased to compensate for the chlorine content. The chlorine demand can be derived from the electrolysis current.

The chlorine concentration in the sample stream is determined using the polarographic measurement method.
